P.D. Publishing, Inc. is honored to accept manuscript submissions for all LGBT genres and topics in both fiction and nonfiction. You should receive an email acknowledging the receipt of your submission within 72 hours.Our submission guidelines are as follows:
- Manuscripts should contain lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgendered themes and characters and be at least 40,000 words in length.
- Manuscripts should not be of an extremist nature, including but not limited to pedophilia, pornography, or bestiality.
- Manuscripts should be in a Microsoft Word or Rich Text format with single-spaced lines, paragraph indentations, and without any extra spaces between paragraphs. Please designate scene changes with line breaks, for example, two line spaces or a line containing asterisks.
- Please send the completed manuscript in its entirety. For emailing purposes, you may divide it into large sections if necessary. Hard copies will not be accepted at this time.
- Email manuscript, as an attachment, to: submissions@pdpublishing.com along with your name/pen name, a short autobiography, title, word count, and synopsis.
- We do not accept simultaneous manuscript submissions. Because of this request, we will limit the time you have to wait for a response. You can expect us to inform you within 4-6 weeks as to whether we have accepted or declined your manuscript for publication.
