Synopsis:
Twenty years ago, Peg Ryan was a drunken, womanizing New York attorney who made a terrible mistake in a blackout. Now, just as she falls in love with Allison in her new city of Chicago, the past comes for a visit. As Allison and Peg try to fight back against Peg’s blackmailer, their friends Morgan and Laura face a similar threat.
The attacks from the outside on both of these couples reveal the very different ways that each woman handles fear, values integrity, cherishes their loved one and seeks to protect her. The differences are nearly as big a threat to staying together as the outside threats meant to drive them apart.
Sometimes Quickly is a fast-paced tale about smart, capable women who don’t always know the right thing to do, especially when doing the wrong thing can cost them everything.
