Okasha Skat’si is a former college English instructor and current grant writer living in South Texas. Born in Mexico of a Cherokee mother and a mostly Scottish father, educated by a shaman grandfather and a convent full of Ursuline nuns, she was a walking multicultural phenomenon well before the term was invented. Also slightly confused, but she got better.
