Cheyne Curry

I was a very accommodating baby, born on Labor Day many, many years ago (six weeks early...I was impatient even back then) in a small town in Vermont to a mother of Irish/Scottish/French descent and a father of English and Algonquin heritage. I was raised in Albany, NY, and at seventeen, I began touring with a production of “Jesus Christ Superstar”, which was like living Groundhog Day for the next three years of my life. Following that stint, I did some regional theater in Rochester, NY and worked at various odd jobs to make ends meet.

Bored with that and looking for a new adventure, I enlisted in the US Army where I became a Military Police officer. As a cop for Uncle Sam, I was stationed with a STRAF (Strategic Armed Forces) unit in Northern California and with SETAF (Southern European Task Force) in Northern Italy. After being honorably discharged, I took a break and went back to doing some community theater until an opportunity came up to work in law enforcement again and I have been in and out of police work and related fields ever since. I have been a federal and civilian police officer, correctional officer (in a male facility), a certified licensed private investigator, surveillance agent for a casino, loss prevention detective, chief of security at a resort and country club in Palm Springs and a security manager at Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank. I am fortunate to have been able to do many amazing things. And I am not done yet.

Recently, I have been back in Vermont, keeping an eye on my feisty elderly mother, constantly writing and looking for my next adventure.
